New Music Phone for T-Mobile to Brag About (finally!)
Jun 27th

Motorola Rokr E8
Wow, this summer is really the season for new, innovative, and often touchscreen, cell phones– iPhone 3G, LG Vu and Dare, Samsung Instinct… the list can go on (and can be read about here). However, one particular carrier is noticeably absent from that prestigious list: T-Mobile. Not to fear, though, the Motorola Rokr E8 is here– well on July 7 it will be, according to Cnet’s blog Crave– and its generating a lot of excitement; it already won top awards at the Consumer Electronics Show this year, including the People’s Voice award and best upcoming cell phone product (discussed by us earlier). But this phone is very different from the previous models we’ve discussed in the past for this summer…ITS NOT A TOUCHSCREEN! Yes, you heard me. Rather, this phone attempts to become the ultimate Music player Cell phone, or what we call the Mp3 phone for the sake of conciseness. Ever. Hit the more link for details!!

Samsung Omnia
We all know that AT&T is the proud carrier of the iPhone, and also the iPhone competitor LG Vu, but now rumor is they are about to add another all touchscreen phone to their lineup. This new phone comes courtesy of Samsung, called the Samsung Omnia. And drum roll for the features which come courtesy of Boy Genius Report:
- GPS with AT&T Navigator
- AT&T Mobile TV (lets you watch live TV)
- AT&T Music and Video
- AT&T 3G
- Mp3 Player with either 8 GB or 16 GB of memory built in (similar to iPhone 3G?)
- 5 Megapixel Camera with Face Detection
- 3.2 inch touchscreen
- Windows Mobile 6.1
Rumors for release are this fall, but nothing has been made official yet, including the price for this latest touchscreen. So for those thinking about purchasing one of these new touchscreens which one will you get– this one, the Vu, iPhone 3G, switch to Verizon and get one of their new phones? Guitar Hero 4′s Guitar
Jun 20th
Guitar Hero 4 Guitar- notice the touchpad after the orange button in the middle of the neck.
It’s been a while since we last wrote about the much-anticipated Guitar Hero 4, and today we got some more info on how the new guitar will look and run. Unlike on older Guitar Hero’s and Rock Bands, this new guitar features not only buttons, but also a touchpad that can be used for doing various things like playing musical notes, and also in the new music maker we told you about in this Guitar Hero 4 post. All this info is courtesy of IGN, who actually have a first look at the next version. I’m pretty stoked on this, and really hope the new Guitar could work with Rock Band, so this way I don’t need to go out and spend another $100-$180 lol.
What are your thoughts, this new info enough to make you wanna wait till this comes out in October? you going for Rock Band instead? or are you not going to go for either at all? Let us know your plans and ideas in the comments.
